This News and Media section of the Emanuel website is where you can read, see and hear all things contemporary to life at Emanuel and the larger Lutheran Christian world. Emanuel’s ministry meets the world in various ways.  It is engaged locally in programs of assistance for people in the New Brunswick Community, but it is also active through the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and the Lutheran World Federation in ministries around the world.  On these pages you will find a sampling of the congregation’s concerns and relationships to other organizations and church bodies.

"A God Worth Having" is a regularly-updated Blog by Pastor Jeff Eaton. He will explore what it is that makes for a God worth having at this particular moment of history, when religion is everywhere in the news, often in the most degraded forms. The Blog addresses questions of Christian belief in light of current events and trends in the wider culture.

Emanuel News will highlight some current and upcoming events at Emanuel that may be of interest, especially to visitors and those who are looking for a welcoming and inclusive community with which to worship.

Global Lutheran News is an automated feed from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) news feed. This is provided through a link to the ELCA News Service and it is updated constantly and automatically. Typically, the stories address a Lutheran response to global issues and various national Lutheran Church issues.

The Audio Files in MP3 format are selections from the Emanuel vocal choir, handbell choir, Pipe Organ presentations and selected sermons. Printed versions of every sermon are provided under the Worship tab on this website.
